MIKE TV:-

Let’s start at the start because that’s always the best place to start. Mike TV are back after not going on hiatus but letting real life get in the way of a good time. Larry Livermore once described them as one of England’s better pop-punk bands and he invented Green Day, so that’s really good. Here we go.

SAUSAGE HOSPITAL is their new 18 track album which was recorded by Peter Bragg & James Miles and which is out now via on Don't Rush Me Records. It was also mastered at The Blasting Rooms by Jason Livermore & Bill Stevenson. which automatically means it’s not shit. Money talks, kids. So, why 'Sausage Hospital?' Because it’s full of sick bangers of course. It has been described by absolutely no one as sounding like Queen Day releasing Dookie 2 but with more sausages. The band will tour the U.K in September, ending the run of sausages (shows) with an album launch concert at The Boileroom in Guildford. The quirky quartet will then then pop over to see the nice Belgians in October. More shows will be announced depending on mental states/impending children/ if anyone actually buys an album that has loads of sausages on the front cover.

Mike TV (formerly Pickled Dick) have been on two highly successful tours of China, several trips round Europe (including one amazing gig in Finland, where only ten people came and the band took them all to the pub after). They’re released two critically acclaimed albums and several E.Ps all recorded by uber-producer and dressing gown fashionista - Peter Miles. They’ve also had album releases in Japan and China, tours with the likes of Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand, The Dickies, Guttermouth, The Flatliners, Uncommon Men From Mars, Chixdiggit, CJ Ramone and Useless I.D. This has put them somewhere near the top of the imaginary punk rock pile. Mike TV is currently composed of Domb Thumb, Jhon Cosgrove, Glyn Mellor and Richie Cooper. Domb and Jhon once had a fight in Morrisons in Newcastle and Jhon ripped Domb’s Ramones shirt - the tearing caused modern day punk rock to fall apart.. that’s of course until Neck Deep came along and saved us all.
