Joining the musical dots through Jazz | Afro Beat | Soul | Rare Groove | Disco | Boogie | Hip Hop & Electronica every Friday at the City's infamous basement club.



The Magnet has a rich history in Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Reggae spanning over 6 decade. From its roots as Liverpool's first black music club in the 60's through to cementing itself as THE spot for all things Hip Hop related in the 00's with guests like Gregory Isaacs, Horace Andy, Youngblood Brass Band, Souls of Mischief and many more. We continue this tradition with our weekly Fridays bringing you some of the finest selectors, dopest turntablists and freshest live talent from around the world in the intimate surroundings of the Fishtank and the newly refurbished Main Room starting in September with:
