Following up last summer's début 'Car E.P.', JUNK. release their new ‘Liquorice E.P.’, which will be available to buy nationwide from Monday 4th May. It will be the band's second release on Leeds label CHUD Records and will be available on cassette and digital download. The band will be selling advance copies of 'Liquorice E.P.' on cassette at this hometown show.



JUNK. formed in October 2013 in York, UK. Eschewing technical ability in favour of short, jangly hooks, JUNK. blend male / female vocals a la The Pastels and The Vaselines, with the Big Muff moments of Dinosaur Jr.

In a nut shell we are a giant armadillo bound by music and slowly walking towards you.. We make sounds with instruments put them together sing on top of them and stand on pedals.... We screech, Shout and laugh but most importantly Feel.

Our music is about the experience, not relevance, forget what you need and what you know and make room for some different sounds in that wonderful organ of yours .....



WORM



"Worm make the most fantastic noise – sort of like an angrier more lyrically-substantial Nirvana clashing with freakin’ Sonic Youth – trust though, it is great stuff. Really, vocalist Rory Welbrock packs more energy and venom into his little pinky finger than any popular modern grunge/nu-grunge act lucky enough to grace the modern rock charts (see Seether or err, Staind…yeah, they’re still about). You should let this fuzzed-up, lo-fi sound slap you in the ears; you’re probably gonna dig in and enjoy getting your fingers dirty with Worm.
