It's been a year since local lass Beth McCarthy took to our TV screens on The Voice UK, singing to the likes of Sir Tom Jones and powering through the competition with her mentor, fellow Yorkshireman and global rockstar Ricky Wilson; but the Northern starlet didn't stop there!



Since the show's end, Beth has played countless gigs and festivals, supporting bands such as ELO on their UK Tour, HAIM and The Black Keys at Latitude festival and Shed Seven at The Barbican. She has taken part in numerous charity events such as A Night To Remember and The Voice of Charity, and during all this has still found time to venture down to 'the big smoke' to write and record her original material.



With such a long paragraph under her belt, you would hardly believe she's only 17..but all is about to change..

Beth McCarthy would like to 'cordially' invite you to BETHTIVAL; the most long awaited 18th birthday in the history of forever - and with the festival season not too far away, what better way to get yourselves reacquainted with your wellies and anoraks than a festival themed 18th birthday gig!



So follow the yellow brick road down to The Duchess, York on Friday 26th June at 7.30pm. Supports are yet to be announced, but most definitely worth waiting for!
