About this Event

Concrete Disco

22:15 - 23:00

Concrete Disco are a London three-piece Concrete Disco bringing the raw energy of a live band to the world of electronic music. Their debut album, Work for your Living, Play for your Life, released in Autumn 2014, is a call to arms to weekend warriors everywhere. Formed in 2010 London brothers Joe and Dom, alongside West Country boy Jonnyfallsover play high-octane live shows and have built up a dedicated following. The band’s sound is a party soundtrack with a darker edge. Combining driving drums, deep basslines and ethereal textures with crunching guitars, catchy vocals and glitchy mashups the trio have spawned the mutant offspring of Prodigy, Justice, Nirvana and Aphex Twin. They have taken their show to venues such as Glade Festival, The Nest and The Roundhouse and supported Deadmau5, Modestep, Plump DJs, Beardyman and Zane Lowe along the way.

The Misanthropists

We are a three piece Garage Rock band from London, Islington called TheMisanthropists. We have been playing as band for a year now and have just been gigging around the London area. We have released a Demo Album and will soon be releasing an EP along with our debut album within the year.

FAUX

FAUX are a three piece Indie, Rock 'n' Roll band based in Southeast London consisting of; Michael, James and Joe. Their five track, debut E.P ‘FAUX’ was released on the 8th of August 2014 to great acclaim. This is a song off of their debut E.P called Risk It: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QZ6MJabdO4

Dicepeople

20:00 - 20:30

Dicepeople is a progressive London-based audiovisual collaboration between Matt Brock (music) and Rafael Filomeno (visuals). Their cinematic depth and intensity arises from the perfect integration of their epic, visceral visuals with an electronic musical foundation of driving beats and synthesised industrial sounds with emotive guitars and vocals. In keeping with the cult novel The Dice Man from which they take their name, Dicepeople incorporate a broad range of styles and genres; and their dark atmosphere binds everything together coherently.
