We always put a lot of thought and effort into our line up curation and choice of headliners and TRUST, this is no exception!

★★★ DJ Hype (Playaz Recordings/Ganja Recordings/Kiss FM (UK)) [90 MIN SET] ★★★



Essentially Hype is to drum and bass as Dr Dre was to the development of hip-hop. He first became involved in music through the legendary Shut Up and Dance sound system, like many before him his interest growing from physically building the speakers that made up the rig to DJ’ing, spinning reggae, house and hip hop throughout the eighties.



Although his Ganja Records label and tracks released under his own name have helped, it's the DJ at the front of Hype’s name that has proved most important in raising his profile to the level of the DJ GROOVERIDER's, Goldie's, and LTJ Bukem's of Drum & Bass. DJ Hype is one of the UK’s most renowned battle DJ’s (representing England in the 1989 DMC’s), with his electrifying deckwork, dabbling between Reggae, Hip Hop, House, Hardcore and of course, DnB & Jungle.



Hype was an early force on one of London's most influential pirate stations, FANTASY Dance FM 96.7, and since then he's consistently topped bills on the international DJ circuit, landing awards for Best Male DJ and Best Radio DJ (in 1994 and 1995, respectively) at the U.K.'s prestigious Hardcore Awards. He's also one of London's popular Kiss FM s biggest attractions and was the force behind Suburban Base's popular multi-volumed mixed compilation series, ‘Drum and Bass Selection’.



20 years on from his DJ debut, Hype remains at the very top of DnB royalty, with regular stints at the hugely influential fabriclondon club as well as time and time again asked to play at some of the biggest parties worldwide - including New Bass Order this July 31!

MC Daddy Earl started out over twenty years ago as part of the heatwave soundsystem along side dance music legends Shut Up And Dance and DJ Hype. Over those years he has featured on tracks that Hype and Shut Up And Dance have released but has never been interested in being an artist in his own right until recently. From Shut Up And Dances early nineties classic “Ten Pounds To Get In” to last years huge” Dubplate Killaz track” on Hype and DJ Pascal’s Ganja label, MC Daddy Earl has been involved in the dance music scene.

★★★ Nicky Blackmarket (BM Soho) ★★★



Nicky Blackmarket is one of the most well known and best loved figures in the Drum and Bass scene, his influence on Drum and Bass culture is indisputable. He has established a reputation as one of the hardest working people within the scene and is a true ambassador for Jungle and Drum and Bass Music.



We're honoured to have Nicky back with us, after almost 2 years, having headlined the second in the series of our famous annual Halloween event, Rave From The Grave!

★★★ Voltage (Shogun Audio/Critical Music/Low Down Deep) ★★★



Undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to have emerged in Drum & Bass in recent years, Voltage is a man in demand as a DJ, producer and label owner. Having not played in Reading for 2 years, we felt this was a nice addition to the bill!



Renowned for his ability to select for any crowd in front of him, Voltage delivers vibes you've never experienced before.



With high profile shows at most major rave destinations such as One Nation, WARNING Cambridge, BREAKIN SCIENCE, & SunBeatz, his tried and tested all-style blend of jungle, jump up and deep, dark rollers suits any dancehall in any corner of the globe.



Premier league support for Voltage's productions include the likes of ANDY C, Friction, Bailey Intabeats, Goldie, Dj Hazard -, DJ BRYAN GEE, Total Science, Ray Keith (OFFICIAL), Dillinja and our MAIN HEADLINER: DJ Hype!



Voltage has a discography that reads as a who is who in D&B land with releases on Critical Music, Shogun Audio, Spearhead Records, CIA Records, Innerground Records, Low Down Deep, Serial Killaz UK, Radius Recordings, Smokin Riddims, Gridlok and Co-Lab.



Responsible for the production of the dancefloor anthem 'Hard Goin' (Co-Lab) which not only featured in most DJ's sets around the globe throughout 2013 but also in 2014, the track found it's way onto the mighty 'Nightlife 6' compilation on RAM Records.



We're also pretty excited that Voltage has just remixed a brand new track with our second headliner Nicky Blackmarket Offical Fan Page !!!, a remix of a previous New Bass Order guest, Deekline (HotCakes), which reached number 2 on the Juno Download DnB charts!



His own imprint "Rollaz-music" just launched this summer, focusing on heavy bass rollers and with backing from the D&B community and full support across the board, we couldn't think of a better addition to New Bass Order's 3rd Birthday Bash!



This heavyweight producer deserves every ounce of attention and praise he's getting.
