Featured in BBC 1Xtra's 'Hot for 2015' list, Jamaican reggae artist Protoje was first discovered by many in 2005 when he released his hip-hop influenced Lyrical Overdose Volume 1 mixtape. His debut album 'The Seven Year Itch' cemented Protoje's future firmly in reggae, and charted at No.3 in America. On the day of its release his 2012 single 'Kingston Be Wise', was the most watched YouTube video in Jamaica. Since then, Protoje topped the Billboard Reggae Charts with his most recent album 'Ancient Future', which features Chronixx collaboration, 'Who Knows'.
