About this Event

Lily Hate Roses

Lily Hate Roses is an indie-pop duo from Poland. Their music is a mixture of indie and folk with a little bit of avant guard electronics acompanied by melancolic and personal lyrics. The group was established in 2012 and since then has completed 5 concert tours that covered 7 countries (Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Ireland and Poland). The band’s career is one of those remarkable success stories that take the audience by surprise. Their very first single „Youth" made its debut on the legendary Seatle KEXP radio and was also noticed by NME. It was soon followed by the release of the debut LP „Something to happen” in the summer of 2013. After that the band gave a memorable performance at the Open’er Festival, one of the most significant music festivals in Europe, along with such greats as Nick Cave, Arctic Monkeys, Blur or The National.

Nicole Stella

I am an Italian singer and songwriter based in London.

I’ve been passionate about music since I was born and I started studying Piano at the age of 10. A few years later I joined a Singing class too and I started writing my own songs. I studied Opera Singing, Piano and Composition at the music school “Conservatorio Cantelli” in Novara (Italy) and Jazz Singing with well – known Italian artist Francesca Ajmar.

I have performed in various contexts, having been part of different choirs and ensembles.

In 2012 I started a collaboration with guitarist Gianfranco Grande ,with whom I performed in different venues in Italy.

Layla

An aspiring artist who is currently beginning to make an idolisation of her name. Layla is an 18 year old music student that offers a passionate realisation of her material, and is recognised by the locals of her hometown, Cambridge, for her versatility and truth that compels her listeners. Every performance that Layla gives is a showcase of the knowledge that she has, of which she independently pursued. Her strengths lie in balladic numbers and is inspired by legendary names such as Whitney Houston, Prince and Etta James.
