Whitley Bay four-piece Lisbon have unveiled the first part of their master plan for 2016 with the announcement of a 22 night UK Tour. After wowing at this summer’s festivals and a near sell out 2015 tour the guys plan to be the band that everyone is talking about in 2016.This year has seen the band likened to Foals, The 1975 and their North Eat comrades Little Comets. After a live session at Maida Vale Studios for Radio 1, Tour supports with Eliza and The Bear, Saint Motel and Little Comets themselves and nearly two million Spotify plays the band are nicely teed up to come out of the blocks fighting in 2016.Hailing from the coastal town of Whitley Bay near Newcastle - Lisbon, who are as-yet-unsigned, have already drawn a considerable fan-base in their native North, selling out sizeable venues such as The Sage Gateshead, Riverside, and most recently the O2.
