About this Event

After a brief hiatus following the closure of Plan B, we are delighted to announce that we are back! On Friday the 27th November we will be making our first appearance at our new home: Surya London. Surya is an intimate venue that we have no doubt will preserve the vibe from Plan B Basement. The full Grooves crew will be in attendance, alongside guests Ascension and Agent Smith.



Ascension has been refining his craft for 13 years, and − after impressing them enough to win their DJ competition − demonstrated his skills at Sun and Bass in both 2013 and 2014. We were similarly impressed by his broad selection and smooth, rolling blends, and look forward to the Grooves debut of this true craftsman on the turntables.



Alongside Ascension will be Agent Smith, an incredibly talented DJ who's already displayed his impressive skills to us at the Grooves NYE gig. A man of striking technical ability and a particularly impressive repertoire - Agent Smith's will not be a set you'll want to miss.



In addition to our two guests we do of course have the Grooves family showcasing their respective musical tastes in their own individual DJing styles. We as a collective pride ourselves in an affection for variety, and hence take care to construct line-ups which reflect that. As always, this will be a full throttle night celebrating the genre we love, and we hope to see you there travelling with us across the expansive landscape of drum & bass.
