JUST ANNOUNCED – Dark-Cide returns for New Years Eve on Thursday 31st Dec 2015.



This will be our 3rd ever NYE at the venue, and based on previous years these have been great club nights with a really good atmosphere and a broad range of music played.



We’ve got very cheap earlybirds Prepaid Guestlist place for the first 50, and then they go up in price by £1 etc.

As with previous years, we’ve tried to keep the door price as cheap as possible and give early discount options. Sadly the prices are that bit more than our regular nights but that’s to cover the much greater hire fee for the venue on NYE and all the extra staff costs etc so hope you can take advantage of the earlybird prices if you can.



If you’ve never bought Prepaid Guestlist places with us before, they work in a way that you pay via Paypal, and you get back notification from them that you’ve paid which can be fine as a ‘ticket’ if you print it off. But, to save you messing around, what we’ve always done is to send you back confirmation and cook up a unique secret password for you,that you and your party just mention on the door as you come in to confirm your identity. It’s worked fine in the past for many of our events, and all we ask is you keep your password secret and not mention it to anyone as once your password’s been crossed off, the door staff can’t allow anyone else to use it etc.

It might sound a bit complicated but to be honest it works out much cheaper than printing/posting tickets and we can pass that saving on to you (so, no booking fee or postage fees!). We’ll get back to you usually within 48 hours of your order with a password, but if you’ve not heard from us email Jane anytime on info@dark-cide.com



We will have more details of the event soon, but the hours will be our usual 10pm – 3am, over 18’s only



We’ll have vinyl, digital and video DJ sets throughout the night on the 53 Degrees stage, playing a very wide range of music (and with it be NYE, we stretch our usual genres even more to include a few other things as we know we often get a bigger range of people coming along).



If you’re travelling in to Preston too, there’s a couple of very reasonable nice modern hotels to choose from. The cheapest so far for NYE we’ve seen is Travelodge Preston Central, which is a short taxi drive away and currently at £31 which can accommodate 3 people, or the Premiere Inn which is within staggering distance from the venue (about 5 mins walk) starting at just £39.

If you’re driving in – there’s a free carpark adjacent to the building which you can park in after 6pm (please don’t park there before then without a UCLAN permit)
