About this Event

Come and join us on our last trading night on the 3rd January for a special quiz with a chance to win memorabilia from the pub, or take in the atmosphere of the Alex before it has its £330,000 make over. We will be shut for almost 4 weeks when we reopen on the 30th January at 6pm. On the opening night we have 2 live bands and tasters from our new food and drink range!!



The new look Alex will still retain all its quirks but with some new additions. The top floor will be open at all times and will have 2 pool tables with sky and BT sports showing all the live sport. Live music will also play a big part of the new look Alex with live bands every other week and open mic nights. There will also be retro gaming nights, man vs food challenges and we will be retaining QUIDS on a Tuesday as well as our wing Wednesday and craft and cocktail night offers!



There is also a music festival happening on the last weekend of February with over 30 live acts already confirmed, watch this space for more info!!
