We are holding a Charity Fundraising Night at Mantra Club and Lounge to Support Claire's Battle for a great cause!



We will be having Lime Challenges, Live Bands and Acts, Charity Raffle and a Suprise DJ!



Claire received some devastating news that she was suffering from a form of Motor Neurone Disease – a progressive disease involving the degeneration of motor neurons and wasting of the muscles. In just a few months Claire’s condition had worsened considerably, resulting in her being diagnosed with ALS, the most progressive form of MND with a life expectancy of 2-5 years. The speed in which this awful disease has taken over Claire’s ability to do many things led her to question whether there was another cause of her symptoms. After undergoing tests by a specialist clinic in Germany, Claire tested positive for Lyme Disease - a bacterial infection spread by infected ticks which can develop into serious and long-lasting symptoms. In the UK tests and treatment for Lyme disease aren’t sufficient, therefore Claire has travelled to Washington to receive potentially life saving treatment. This treatment is very expensive, estimating to cost over £60,000 but is crucial to give Claire the best chance of a long and happy future with her husband and daughter. We not only want to raise money to contribute to Claire’s treatment, but also raise awareness of this terrible disease as it could affect anyone.
