Called “The funniest thing at the Edinburgh Fringe” by both Stewart Lee and 2015 Fosters Comedy Award winner Sam Simmons, and endorsed by TV comedy heavyweights Richard Herring and Charlie Brooker, musical comedy treasure K*** and the Gang bring their unique beyond-the-knuckle show to Bristol on Thu 1st Sept at The Fleece.



If you haven’t heard of Kunt & The Gang, then you have probably accidentally had Google Safe Search turned ‘on’. Over the last 13 years the ‘one man filth machine’ (Bizarre Mag) has assembled a back catalogue to rival any of his musical peers including over 10 albums of obscenely catchy songs, 30-odd music videos and an acclaimed original musical chronicling the fake kidnapping of Yorkshire schoolgirl Shannon Matthews.



In this time Kunt & The Gang has also played sold out shows as far afield as London, Edinburgh, Adelaide, Melbourne and, er, Southend-On-Sea, amassed over 3 million YouTube hits, scored two of the least appropriately titled top 75 UK hit singles of all time, been ostracised by much of the comedy community at the Edinburgh Fringe over a misjudged advertising campaign involving crudely shaped stickers, and masterminded the world’s first ever virtual dirty protest, egging on his online followers to tweet jpegs of their daily motions to sinister entertainment bigwig Simon Cowell.



Billing himself as “The second best thing about the internet”, Kunt & The Gang will never get aired on mainstream TV or Radio and is destined to remain an underground comedy guilty pleasure, but will continue to remain loved by his army of internet wrong’uns, and hated by others - a proper Marmite music hall maverick.
