Known for their enchanting, emotive and engaging live shows, James Young and Aiden Whalley are quickly establishing themselves as pioneering figures within the electronic music sphere.



Warped pulsating beats, warm vocal hooks and bubbling melodies is what inevitably caught the ears of Kode9 and his infamous Hyperdub label, before Darkstar branched into the illustrious Warp Records with their beautiful News From Nowhere LP, gaining justifiable comparisons to James Blake and Radiohead in the process.



Last year, they released the critically-acclaimed Foam Island, which tackled issues of living under the Conservative government in the north. Now, they take their mind-bending live show to Start The Bus.
