extraño 3.1



After moving nicely into 2016 celebrating more extraño horseplay for our 3rd birthday back in january. We're back creeping into summer with the ibiza season moving swiftly on the horizon, we felt it was only right to host a good knees up before some of us depart for another season of summer madness on the white isle.



Having been heavily impressed and inspired in recent times by the artistry and musical expertise that we have within our network, hearing them literally tear roofs off at various obscure parties across the uk and beyond, watching them grow and develop over the years into something special, creating their own distinctive vibes through thier sets and forward thinking productions, we wanted to bring a handful of our good friends together to make thier extraño debuts.

We like to call these the next gen...



Stepping up to hold the courtyard down we have selectors...



Joe Rolét who co runs the london based Label and Party "Planetary Notions" aswel as another slick underground party by the name of "Ukiyo-e" both holding thier own on the london underground circuit. Having met joe in ibiza 2015 he made his mark with his chunky club dubs and really hit it off with our mutual love, passion and drive to develop avant-ɡard productions. 2000 and chunk is the motto.

H.E.R who is finally making her extraño debut has been making some serious waves from the uk to europe most notably romania. Her love and selection of deep, mesmerising, hypnotic phat dubby minimal grooves have really been doing it. First meeting her back in ibiza in 2012 we have watched this girl develop and nurture her style.

Also on courtyard duties we have our newest resident Aston Kirby who never ceases to amaze us with his beautiful selections no matter what time or environment always playing to suit the vibe and mood without losing his identity, just seamessly blending tracks together that really paint a picture, honing his craft like a true artist.

On main room warm up duties we have a debut b2b special as we invite Luke wood back but this time selecting with Scott Rozario, these 2 have been pairing up playing music together behind closed doors for a while now and know each-others collection aswel as they know eachother. Luke wood has been exciting us with his carefully selected vinyl collection of deep rooted Chicago house inspired grooves with a hint of that french flare goodness to create his vibe.

Next up we have the young Har-V, this character is full of enthusiasm, charisma and charm behind the decks with his experimental sounds of dubby, tech, house and garage and everything in-between. Having been given his uncles collection of old school house /techno/ garage etc... from the late 80's to the mid 2000's we keeps blowing us away sneakily chucking in forgotten or unknown gems from yesteryear mixed with the contempary grooves and stompers.
