Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

The self-confessed "bad boys of jazz" from Chicago are one of the most exciting instrumental musical formations specialising in jazz with a hip hop vibe, like no other. They’ve performed and worked with the likes of Damon Albarn to Snoop Dogg and Mos Def and been making albums for more than a decade.



A family band, seven of the eight members are blood related and training by their father, the jazz trumpeter and band leader, Kelan Phil Cohran.

Temple Funk Collective

A New Orleans-style 8-piece brass band riot, taking their lead from the Louisiana legends and adding gypsy, jungle and hip hop. Hailing from Temple Cowley, Oxford, Temple Funk hit the scene in late 2012 and haven’t looked back since. With a rapidly growing fan base they are becoming one of the UKs top New Orleans Brass Bands
