About this Event

If you dont know about us we are a Bristol based Dub, Steppers, Dubwise, Rub-A-Dubstep & Rootstep record label / collective founded in 2015 with our main aim at bringing positive vibrations to the masses .



We are putting on a celebration of all things music down at the infamous Blue Mountain Club.



Expect added soundsystem weight from No Ice Cream Sound and a wide selection of roots inspired sounds from a mixture of guest artists from the UK and beyond.



LINEUP:



V.I.V.E.K & Dego Ranking (System)



V.I.V.E.K has been a pillar in sound system culture, covering the area where forward thinking Dubstep meets the authenticity of roots music through his sound system and record label SYSTEM. Expect a unique combination of the two styles coming together in an incredible blend. With releases from Versa, Las, Gantz, Karma, Foamplate and Quest on his label, expect a whole heap of dubplate action.



EARL GATESHEAD (Trojan Records)



Earl Gateshead is the selector and leader of Trojan Sound System, the official sound of Trojan Records. Since its creation in 1968, Trojan Records has led the way in presenting the very best in classic Jamaican sounds. A personal favourite of the Hold Tight family it’s an honour for us to finally be able to present to you his selections, which are always full of natural upliftment and we can guarantee his unique style will keep you moving.



VERSA (Zam Zam/System)



With a string of successful releases on both Zam Zam Records and System Music among others we are eagerly anticipating Versa’s attendance at Blue Mountain.. Expect classic spacey dub styles infused with strong nods towards Rythm & Sound style productions, with a generous helping of roots culture and live melodica throughout.
