Tara Minton, harpist, singer and songwriter hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Her music is the divine combination of folk and jazz, soulful vocals, beautifully arranged standards from Cole Porter to Chick Corea, as well as original works and engaging story telling from around the globe.

After completing her studies in classical harp and piano, contemporary voice, and acting Tara begun writing songs and working as a musician in Melbourne. In March 2011 Tara had a fateful meeting with Jakez Francois - director of Camac Harps after he heard her song "play with me" on Triple J Unearthed. He liked her modern take on the harp and offered her an endorsement deal with Camac. Five weeks later Tara relocated to London and now plays a Camac Big Blue electric harp at all of her concerts.



Since moving Tara has worked extensively as a musician, performing most nights at some of London’s most exclusive clubs including the Pheasantry, the Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, Ronnie Scott’s upstairs, Annabell’s, Mark’s, the Ashtead Jazz Club, the St Pancras Old Church and regular appearances in her local Camden Town and at the Highgate Boogaloo.
