About this Event

If you dont know about us we are a Bristol based Dub, Steppers, Dubwise, Rub-A-Dubstep & Rootstep record label / collective founded in 2015 with our aim to bring positive vibrations to the masses .



We are putting on a celebration of all things music down at the infamous Blue Mountain Club. The night will be powered by our close freinds and Bristol's own Lionpulse Official Soundystem alongside a wide selection of roots inspired sounds from a mixture of guest artists from the UK and beyond.

DJ MADD



Hungarian-born Peter Simon has been writing music since his early teens, scoring his first vinyl release in 2008. Highly acclaimed for his WAR series of white label releases, he quickly made the connection between underground bass music and the Jamaican reggae sound. His music has been supported by UK tastemakers such as Toddla T, Mary Anne Hobbs and David Rodigan.



Making the move from Budapest to Bristol, he quickly set foot scoring a guest mix on Skream's Rinse FM show, and multiple spots on high profile compilations such as 'This is Dubstep' or the Minisitry Of Sound's 'The Sound of Dubstep'.



Setting up his own imprint 'Roots & Future', he continues building up a diverse following who love the old school dubwise sounds with bone-shaking bass and the low end of the sonic spectrum.



PENG SOUND ( OSSIA & WILFY ROOTIKAL)



Peng Sound” is a hands-on record label and organiser of music events based in Bristol, uk.



They started putting on dances since late 2009 and have had a number of great parties throughout the last few years, mainly in the basement of the Take Five Cafe but sometimes also in other Stokes Croft venues.



The love for music and d.i.y. culture inspired us to move things forward and establish a record label, putting forward the music we like to listen and dance to. It is a direct product of bristol’s soundsystem culture and it’s wealth of creativity and musical freedom.



Both the label and events have strong belief in an honest, real and personal approach to things: face to face conversations, word of mouth recommendations, listening to vinyl & cassettes, hand-built soundsystems, dub sirens, cheering crowds and the joys of dancing together to one rhythm.



HYLU & DEEMAS J ( UNIT 137)



Unit 137 are a collective of DJs, producers, vocalists, engineers and instrumentalists drawn together by a shared passion of conscious, forward thinking bass music. Based in South-East London, the collective share their own recording studio, record label and sound system. The crew boast an arsenal of original productions, exclusive dubs, and forthcoming releases, which combine to create their live show. With experience performing around the UK as well as internationally the team know what it takes to move a dance, and are more than capable of doing so.
