The Vagina Monologues is an annual campaign done around the world by volunteers and college students to raise awareness and funds for anti-violence groups within their own communities. This year, the Campus Women's Organization is donating all the proceeds of this production to Garden of Peace Project, an organization dedicated to uplifting, upholding, and empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals in the Pittsburgh area.
During every performance, students from the University's ASL program will sign monologues alongside English-speaking actors. The Deaf community is encouraged to attend the Saturday night performance, which will be interpreted in full.
