Colour Of Noise are a classic rock band from Brighton, England! We are steeped in the spirit of the late 60’s British Blues Boom and early 70’s Stadium Rock, but cannot escape the urge to deliver songs with a steam-powered intensity.

There are no ballads on a Colour of Noise album.

You might know guitarist Bruce John Dickinson (Little Angels, b.l.o.w) , singer Matt Mitchell from his band Furyon.

The songs we write deal with issues of permanence, holding onto what is great in our lives (people and music), coming to terms with change (broken dreams, relationships) whilst trying to retain a sense of yourself in a mad world. More than anything else, they deal with escapism through Rock ‘n’ Roll.

The Noise we make is mostly powered by highly cranked vintage equipment. Not because we’re that stuck on a principle, it just sounds better to our ears.

Our debut album ‘Colour of Noise’ has been pre-released via Pledge Music in November 2015 following the road testing of songs on tour with Thunder, at Download and Steel House festivals and at the upcoming Hard Rock Hell IX.

Colour of Noise does not answer to any record company, but if you missed the pre-release Pledge campaign deadline, you will be able to buy the album (and merch) from December 2015 via Townsend music.

With CON it’s all about the live show. See you on the road in 2016

STONE THEORY

"There's something special about a band who can make the whole audience sit down in the middle of a blues/metal set. The exuberance and freedom in their performance is a joy to watch. Great chemistry on stage." - Husky Tones

"An EP full of lung-bursting energy throughout. They themselves say that “indifference has no place here”, and seemingly neither does mediocrity as they crash onto the rock scene with a rather loud bang." - Rock Chic

We here at Stone Theory are what one may call 'vagabonds, scoundrels and delinquents'.. We don't take pride in tarting up for the crowd and playing for an audience in a certain manner to their taste, we do what we like, we play to the crowd that wants us for who we are and that we can enjoy as they do us.

We're not pretty (well... maybe we are), we play the music we want, wearing our inspirations on our sleeves yet still set out to achieve the creation of original and fresh music. We are not a band who take ourselves seriously, we think music is serious yet fun - but on stage, honesty to the crowd is important.

With our roots firmly in rock, blues and metal we combine an eclectic taste in music, with undeniable volume and unexplained grooves as we work on an ever expanding catalog for people to love or hate...indifference has no place here...
