‘Battle of The Blues’ A special Cavern Club Blues & Rhythm party night 22nd June 2017 (FREE entry before 8.00 pm and £4.00 thereafter. Live Lounge Doors Open 7.00 pm – Close 10.00 pm)



Join us in The Cavern Club Live Lounge for a knockout ‘Battle of The Blues’ with two of Liverpool’s top R&B and Soul DJs, Chris McBride and original 60s ‘Sink Club’ DJ, Stan Evans. Chris and Stan will be spinning the wax and keeping the dancefloor moving with some of the hottest 50s and 60s Rhythm & Blues and Soul tunes from 7.00 pm – 10.00 pm. Following the DJ sets you’ll be further entertained in the front stage by the resident weekly Beatle band .



To mark the 60th Anniversary of the world’s most famous club, The Cavern Club have teamed up with Vee-Tone Records to produce a long overdue tribute to the pioneers of Blues, Rock n Roll and Soul that have graced The Cavern stage over the decades. This very special limited edition vinyl collection (only 500 individually numbered copies worldwide) represents the many faces of the Blues, from tough Chicago Blues, to Piano Boogie, to Rockin’ Blues and finishing off with the soulful Rhythm and Blues sounds of the early 60s. More than just a ‘Best of The Blues’ compilation, there’s something here for everyone. Great care has been taken to ensure that ‘The Cavern Club Blues & Rhythm’ LP delivers the right mix of dancefloor fillers (fast ‘n’ slow), alongside some hard to find gems.
