About this Event

"From the first listen of their debut EP I was hooked. Seeing them live is an experience- too young to be this good- but get used to it because they are outstanding! Cannot wait for the album..." Ebony B- DJ & Promoter

"Nothing like starting ‘em young, these guys are not old enough to drink, drive or vote. What they can do however is rock as hard as any established band on the live circuit today. This first EP is a real find, well produced and giving you a sample of what’s to come from these three testosterone-fuelled teens. There are no ballads either, which is a good thing, as you can’t write erection section smooches about love and sliding it in until you’ve seen your first set of bare breasts up close and personal. I’m sure these guys will be seeing their fair share in the coming years as rock stardom awaits. ‘Video Memories’ has a deep fat bass line with vocalist/guitarist Kyle Lamley performing both duties with excellent results. Three tracks of hard rock dripped in the past but looking to the future, an excellent start. It’s good to see such young talent blossoming and playing such mature music for shoulders so young. Impressive stuff from the Burton youngsters. Now go and stock up on some jonnies lads, I think you’ll need them!" Tosh Davies- The Midlands Rocks

“I listened to the stuff I was sent by THEIA and thought- there has to be some sort of mixing going on here, something else going on, they can't do this live at their age... so I went and saw them live. Holy s*** man, they are as good live, they're amazing! You're going to love them.” David Tonge- Noize Level Critical.

"The trio, from Burton-on-Trent, brought in elements of country, rhythm and blues, hard-rock and Southern boogie, but the result was an authentic, cohesive set, rather than a band trying lots of different styles to see what sticks. Kyle Lamley on vocals/guitar is a phenomenal frontman – bucket loads of charisma, he encouraged a full-on crowd reaction (particularly with last track “Whoop-dee-fucking-Doo”), but that’s not to take away from his voice – classic blues rock vocals which seemed incongruous coming from someone so Anglo-Saxon! THEIA’s music is most definitely conducive to a party atmosphere!" Emma, Get Your Rock Out

"From a band I knew, and wanted to see, to a band I didn't know but good God, i'm glad I did! THEIA are three young lads from Burton on a mission. Despite the youth of the band; and I mean the age of the band as well as its members, they played an absolutely blinding set of really strong Hard Rock songs. Hooks, Riffs and catchy choruses abound, all delivered with a self-assuredness and confidence, but never slipping into cockiness. These guys are a real find. They've hit the festival circuit now. Surely, a decent tour support slot beckons?" Rob Nankivell, Devils Gate Media
