This is a practical AQA module that forms unit two of the Unit Award Scheme, a great option for home educators or other types of alternative education

Basic structure of muscles and bones

Key functions of the skeleton

Types of joint movement 

Types of muscle contraction

Learners will explore these topics through various outdoor activities, taking part in exercises and challenges to complete the unit. Activities will be suitable for ages 5+ but those 8+ will be working towards the award.
