About this Event

Choose from a Canoe, a Kayak or a Paddle-Board and then we will be starting at the Trent Lock, where the River Soar and Erewash Canal meet the Trent. 

You will already be treated to the open convergence of the waterways, the stunning green surroundings and the vast array of river craft to see around the area.

We will paddle with the flow of the river, under the guidance of an experience Paddle Coach as we snake our way down the river, stopping for refreshment breaks and to take in the tranquility of the surroundings. 

The trip will conclude at Beeston Marina where you will find a stunning view of the Clifton’s St Mary’s church that sits on top of the cliff looking down onto the river Trent.

Bring some lunch, a drinks bottle, and a change of clothing (just in case we get wet) and accessories for the weather (see confirmation details).

Optional:  bring a phone with waterproof phone case or waterproof camera/phone to take lots of cool shots and some pennies for an ice cream.

Open to anyone over the Age of 8.... Children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.  We can’t wait to see you there!
