Want to know more about our ‘Viking’ day course? 

This is a practical AQA module that forms unit two of the Unit Award Scheme, a great option for home educators or other types of alternative education.

Things that you will learn about:

1.    Food typically eaten during the Viking period

2.    What sagas are

3.    Methods used to weave

4.    Facts about Vikings and the timeline

5.    Viking sheilds

Learners will explore these topics through various outdoor activities, taking part in exercises and challenges to complete the unit. Activities will be suitable for ages 5+ but those 8+ will be working towards the award.
