Shapes 6th Birthday

Over their 6 years, Shapes have become a Bristol institution, hosting some of the biggest names in the game in unique locations including churches and courthouses. Their recent history with Motion is strong too, taking over with Boogie Nights in June and with Banoffee Pies in September.



For their sixth birthday they’ve pulled something huge out of the bag in Tale Of Us. The Italian duo’s brand of verdant soundscapes and irresistible rhythms earned them the runner-up spot on RAs DJ poll in 2013. In 2016 they embarked on an epic 13 week residency at the legendary Space in Ibiza, and in March of this year, they branched away from club music to create the gorgeous Endless, an epic classical-inspired record that truly showed what they’re capable of. Their sets inspire awe and euphoria in equal measure and we can’t wait to see what they bring.



Joining them are purveyors of psychedelic grooves, and fellow Italians, Mind Against, sharing their anthemic journey through IDM, house and techno. Audion AKA Mathew Dear joins them on the bill, demonstrating how much of an underrated DJ he is, as well as Moscoman, one of the current wave of artists from Tel Aviv building the city’s reputation as a hotbed of leftfield house and wonky disco.



Next door one man holds it down all night. With countless nights taking sole control of the dancefloor under his belt, here and in his adoptive home of Berlin, George Fitzgerald is the ideal man to take this on.
