OYD is hosting a jazz night at Freud to raise money for Aspire Oxford and Oxford Homeless Pathways - come along to enjoy the jazzy acts we have on offer, whilst having the chance to give money to two fantastic charities!

About the cause:

Homelessness is a rising problem in Oxford, and has been labelled as having the 4th highest rate of homelessness of any city in the UK. After County Council funding cuts of 65% due to central government cuts, the number of beds available has decreased significantly. Charities like Aspire Oxford and Oxford Homeless Pathways are key - Aspire provides education, training, and work opportunities for those who are struggling, and OxHop provides funding for two shelters, O'Hanlon House and Julian Housing, as well as the Oxford Medical Fund, which gives key medical care to those who need it most.
