MelloMello Light Night Celebrations!
About this Event
Friday 17th May sees the glorious return of ‘Light Night’ and in celebration, we are inviting everyone to get curious and join us on a journey to explore what makes our raggle-taggle world spin! For the first time ever, we are opening up all four floors to the public to showcase snippets of the freshest musical, visual, media, performance and fine arts the city has to offer. Visitors will be treated to free bands, African drumming, improvised theatre and burlesque sessions. Current building tenants will be on-hand to show the curious around their creative caves and for true art lovers, there will be an art auction specialising in local and grassroots artists. To top it all off, when the sun slumbers, the external façade of the building will become a canvas for a spectacular 3D visual mapping projection which will explore the past, present and possible futures of MelloMello. Starting when the birds go to sleep and ending when they wake…
