About this Event

Hailing from Kingston, Sanchez is one of the biggest names in dancehall and reggae fusion. His first hit "Lady In Red" was released in 1987, which propelled him to popularity. By the next year, he was one of Jamaica's most successful singers; at Reggae Sunsplash '88, he was called back for no fewer than SIX encores!



In the nineties and naughties, he became famous for his love songs and pop covers.



Sanchez will appear at the O2 Academy Oxford for a very special ONE-OFF performance, which will be his first UK show in over a decade.
