About this Event

Door Open:

9:00 pm - 12:30 am

Jona Overground are the serendipitous pairing, whose debut album “On The Outside” finds them channelling Dionne Warwick’s Bacharach-era heartbreak one minute, before hot stepping to the nightclub floor the next.

Anna’s in-demand talents have provided regular support to the likes of Kylie, Erasure and Lionel Richie, with TV appearances on shows such as TFI Friday and Graham Norton. Jon’s a man with more instruments to his name than 6 weeks in the studio could exhaust. A self taught guitarist and classically trained pianist his writing credits include music for the BBC, Channel 4 and ESPN.

The duo started writing songs together after meeting at Goldsmiths and discovering a shared love of classic songwriting. They began recording in 2012 as well as playing some acoustic gigs to gauge audience response. The London live circuit was immediately smitten by the new duo.

Jona Overground are making their debut here at The Phoenix Artist Club. With a newly released album to their name which is getting a lot of attention from the critics, don’t miss this opportunity to catch these guys while you can.

Free Entry.
