This talented young lady has become a very popular fixture here at The Phoenix.





Georgie’s voice has a beautifully distinctive tone and charming feel, she is a storyteller in her own right when she sings. Her enthralling delivery, demeanour and engaging intonation, enable the notes to trickle effortlessly through her performance, allowing her interpretations to flow like romantic conversation. Amongst her many distinguishing qualities is her versatility; The poignancy communicated by her mournful delivery of ballads has been known to leave a room in complete, stilled silence but she can effortlessly have the room on its feet, lindy hopping minutes after with her great swing feel. Her gorgeous performance style and relaxed, professional air deem her to be a real budding talent, definitely a one to watch.



Georgie began her professional singing career at the age of 17, performing in Hertfordshire venues such as Hanbury Manor alongside being hired for exclusive private events. She then swiftly moved on to the London jazz scene, prompted by joining the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Singer’s group. She has since made appearances at Ronnie Scott’s, Spice of Life and The Phoenix to name a few.



Georgie recently recorded an acoustic album with pianist Chris Eldred entitled ‘Smile’, and is continuing to develop personal interpretations and arrangements of her expanding repertoire. This is an evening not to be missed.
