Max powa:

Max, an Austrian native, is now operating out of Spain. He started deejaying reggae and jungle music around 2004 in venues all over Austria. Inspired by the Dub sound and the self-similar nature of jamaican

music, Max began to produce music of his own in 2008. Shortly afterwards he teamed up with junglist heavyweight, Jacky Murda, co-founding the live-laptop-dub project "JingBong Ting," which resulted in his first release on WAR Recordings (Argon Records' white-label series) in 2010. Since then, we have seen Max Powa productions appear on labels like Jacky Murda's imprint "Little Island" and Poland's Dubstep-flagship "Moonshine Recordings", with lyrical support from Top Cat (UK) and Ziggi (NL) respectively. 2012 marks the creation of Max Powa's own label Powa Cuts founded together with Producer Lenny Roots. The label will feature a string of heavy Dub & Dubstep releases pressed on 7 inch vinyl!POWA CUTS collaborates with veteran reggae singers and transforms classic material intocrisp, powerful vinyl cuts!



Dub Boy :

Bristol's Dub Boy is a DJ, producer and promoter of international esteem who plays a wide variety of soundsystem and carnival musics.He is the driving force behind the seminal clubnights, Ruffnek Diskotek and Monster Bass, and performs regularly across the UK and Europe, including festivals such as Glastonbury, Outlook and Boomtown. His bag of dubplate specials, unreleased exclusives and infamous mashups and remixes always get crowds moving ...... waistlines never fail to wine!

Senseless Records is an international bass music label from London, UK. Over 30 releases and six years in we have released music from across the world, searching the UK and far beyond for technicolour bass music that moves us.



ROOTS FACTORY

Roots Factory is an independent collective of people which aims at promoting reggae culture by organising cultural events, producing music, and performing it ot the masses.

The collective started out in Ireland and ran its first gig in october 2007 and hasn’t looked back since, from hosting tents at festivals to running sessions all over Ireland and more recently in Bristol and London, where they are now based.

They have since worked with some of the most renowned musicians on the international scene as well as featured at major festivals and various club nights around Europe and beyond.

2010 saw them organise a series of film club events where reggae-related documentaries were shown in a public venue in a bid to promote the music.

The vibes and the quality of the sound delivered are the main focus and the message is strictly conscious.

The selection is very eclectic, ranging from 70s roots to the most futuristic UK steppers dubs.

Passionate by the sound system culture and roots music in general the members of I Skankers have been collecting records for many years and specialised themselves in 70's Roots , Early Digital and UK Steppers. Come to discover this young french collective that deserves to be more known .
