About this Event

L. A. Davis

Singer/songwriter L. A. Davis was born in the bustle of London's East End.

His spirit and determination to succeed come from an overwhelming ability to understand life from the viewpoint of the less advantaged.

As a true 'Cockney' Londoner, he centre's his lyrics right from the

heart: "It really doesn't matter what a melody sounds like; if the words aren't true, then listeners are less likely to buy into the ethic of a song," he says.

His London upbringing provides L. A. Davis with lyrical inspiration, while the gravely, smoky quality to his voice lends the key distinction between his musical counterparts. James Morrison, Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars and, more recently, Sam Smith have all inspired this truly talented young artist.

Signed to American Label Monarchy Records, a division of the Spectra Music Group in 2013, L. A. Davis will release his widely anticipated debut album 'EVERYTHING CHANGED' in 2015. It has already been hailed as a one to watch.

His raw honesty and his ability to perform live time and time again, make this artist a sure fire hit with fans of live music. L. A. Davis is fast becoming a well known face on the live music circuit: the winner of Live and Unsigned's Best Unsigned Pop Act in the UK 2010, he is widely known as a performer who is willing to take risks within the boundaries of live performance.

"The moment you stop giving (to an audience)," he says, "is the moment you stop getting back."

Fallow Fields

Four years strong as a team, Fallow Fields' live shows have grown to be what attracts newcomers to their existence the most. With more and more female-fronted bands becoming branded as clones of one another, it is refreshing to hear of a girl with a little more aggression and swagger in her delivery. The most common feedback from this quintet's live shows revolves around the onstage energy the band share.
