Hugely prolific Welsh pop star Euros Childs returns to York in support of new record 'Situation Comedy'. Having released seven solo albums in the last six years and co-founded Jonny with Teenage Fanclub frontman Norman Blake, Euros is set to further satisfy fans of his outsider-pop once more with new great new single 'Spin That Girl Around', which precedes yet another new record.



On this tour, Euros Childs will be performing full band, who will be with him is yet to be known, but after last year's brilliant show with The Wellgreen backing him, you can guarantee it'll be hot.



All that without mentioning his previous bands, the hugely influential Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, who alongside Super Furry Animals and others, put Welsh guitar music back on the map in the late 20th Century.



Euros has also recorded as Cousins with former Race Horses singer Meilyr Jones in 2012.

This year has seen Euros team up with Laura J Martin, Sweet Baboo, Megan Childs, R. Seiliog and H. Hawkline for an album under the name of Short & Curlies. Their LP 'At The Dance' was released on Euros' National Elf label earlier this year.



Fans of his previous outfits will find plenty to love in all his solo work, a genuine star, Euros has always trodden his own path and we should all be very thankful he has.
