For our monthly Introducing residency at Surya, we’re bringing you a night packed to the seams with great Alternative Rock acts.



Topping the bill is Pangea. After their recent and hugely successful EP Launch show, this Watford based quintet are on a high. Their sound is a combination of 70’s/80’s rock artists such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Guns n Roses intertwined with modern-day rock bands such as Foo Fighters. The band also have an essence of 90’s grunge to make their sound unique. This sound has gained the lads spots on the stages of some of London’s best grass roots venues, including the Underbelly and the Garage.



Joining them is another three piece that packs a punch, Blue Nation.

Blue Nation are an indie/blues driven outfit hailing from the vibrant music scene of Birmingham. The band have toured the UK extensively and undertaken two acoustic tours of New York City. The band have also been hand-picked, on two occasions, to play the Music Stage at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.



We will also be joined by Brittle Empire. Brittle Empire are a Luton quintet who play their own unique style of indie/blues/rock, effortlessly combining classic rock riffs, bluesy slide and acoustic folk melodies with funky bass riffs to sound “like no-one else and everyone else all at the same time”. The band have been playing in London for a number of years at well renowned venues including The Garage, the Underbelly and the Purple Turtle.
