Twice-nominated at BBC Folk Awards, contemporary folk/acoustic duo Gilmore & Roberts combine award-winning songwriting with astounding lap-tapping guitar, fiery fiddle and their trademark harmonies, creating a powerful wall of sound. Their third album The Innocent Left, recorded in London with producer Julian Simmons (Guillemots, Ed Sheeran, Albert Lee), explores many and varied topics but remains consistently bound by Gilmore & Roberts' passion for stories.



Katriona Gilmore (The Albion Band) and Jamie Roberts (Kerfuffle) have released three albums together since 2008 and received much critical acclaim, leading to a tour supporting Fairport Convention in 2011. The Innocent Left has delivered a fresh haul of accolades, including a 'Best Duo' nomination at both the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and 2013 Spiral Earth Awards, a 'Song of the Year' FATEA Award and first prize in the Acoustic/Folk category of the UK Songwriting Contest (both for 'Doctor James').



2014 found Gilmore & Roberts reaching new audiences through tours and festivals in mainland Europe and Canada, as well as taking part in a collaborative project for the centenary of the First World War. The 'Songs For The Voiceless' album, also featuring Bella Hardy, The Young Uns and others, was released in October and received glowing reviews.
