Friday 3rd July sees Cubed & Systematik collaborate for the very first time to bring a headlining act to Reading who both nights have been super fond of since their inception:



DENSE & PIKA (Hotflush/Planet E/Aus Music/Drumcode/Hypercolour)



Emerging mid-2011 with a series of handstamped white-label releases, Dense & Pika have since become a must check facet of true, modern underground techno. Their releases have been supported by the likes of Carl Craig, Sven Vath, Blawan, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, DJ Koze, Jackmaster, and Scuba - who signed the duo to his Hotflush imprint.



Dense & Pika are Alex Jones, founder of Hypercolour Records (releases range from Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Axel Bowman, George FitzGerald, Justin Martin, Eats Everything & Seth Troxler); and Christopher Spero, whose releases under his 'Glimpse' alias have been signed to Crosstown Rebels, Leftroom, Cadenza, Buzzin Fly, Drumcode & Cocoon Recordings.



Dense & Pika's tracks such as their 2013 piano-led 'Colt' and their remix of Paul Woolford's 'Erotic Discourse' ('Best Remix' at the DJ Mag 'Best Of British' awards) have helped them gain the recognition they truly deserve, with the duo now leading the way in UK House & Techno.
