Envol et Macadam, one of Canada’s biggest music festivals, open again for bands worldwide to register free online for the chance of an all-expenses-paid trip to play at the 20th Envol et Macadam Festival in Quebec City, Canada (Sept 10th – 12th). Registration closes on Sunday 24th May.



The PLANETROX project is an initiative of Envol et Macadam, Quebec’s top alternative music festival. It aims to develop up and coming alternative bands from around the world. Unlike other festivals the bands will be programmed into the main bill and have another set in their separate night.



The project gives artists the chance to perform at an event that annually attracts over 20,000 music fans. Its programming appeals to an energetic crowd; Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Of Mice And Men, Mastodon, Sum 41, Pennywise, August Burns Red, Metric, Sublime With Rome, NOFX, IAM, As I Lay Dying, Sick Of It All, Lagwagon, Dinosaur Jnr, Less Than Jake and Bloc Party have all played at Envol et Macadam in recent years.



The UK leg will showcase at Surya, Kings Cross, London on Thursday 9th July 2015.
