This workshop is designed for all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities and takes you right back to the basics of burlesquw. Great for those of you who have never taken a class before or want a refresher session, before heading to our intermediate and advanced levels.



During the workshop we will cover:



- A new choreographed routine

- Glove removal techniques

- Working with a Boa

- Learning to walk like a showgirl!

Learn the art of tease with The Scarlet Vixens Tootsie La Rocque. Tootsie is a founding member of the Scarlet Vixens burlesque troupe based in Reading. She have been performing for almost 3 years, quite often having the opportunity to perform on a weekly basis through our troupe shows so she has crammed a lot of stage experience into her burlesque career so far! 80's and 90's rock are her sweet spot, but she does have a selection of acts which venture out of this musical genre. A penchant for mixing 80's rock music with daft character portrayals; a captivating cacophony of contemporary neo-burlesque with a rock star twist!
