About this Event

To celebrate turning 5 we have decided to invite three of our favourite DJs to play, three DJs who have an intricate knowledge of numerous musical genres, Artwork (Rinse FM), Santero & Reading's finest Tim Hooper (Milk Reading)



Having witnessed all put smiles on so many faces at Cubed and beyond with their ability to mix all things electronic music, they are expert & experienced readers of the vibe of the night knowing when to take it up a notch or two, also armed with a curveball or two for those hands in the air sing-a-long moments. It's our birthday party & we want to celebrate by having a good time, in Artwork's words 'a lovely time' & that is what we will have!



CELEBRITY DJ ARTWORK (Disclosure's 'fun uncle') is headlining the soiree. The resident DJ of Pikes Hotel in Ibiza, he is undoubtedly one of the funniest & finest selectors in music right now (check out this 4 minute loop of 'lift music & chat' that was played throughout Bugged Out Weekender:

& he produces great music, seriously good music. This one has been a staple in the likes of Jackmaster & Skream's sets over the second half of 2015 & with good reason 'cause it blows the roof off each and every time:

SANTERO is a good friend of ours who we had down to play Reading more than any other DJ in our party-throwing history, solely because he's an excellent DJ. Seamless mixing and armed with a hefty, eclectic record collection, a Red Bull Threestyle UK Champion DJ in 2010, Ministry Of Sound resident DJ 2012-2015, professional music man & amateur burger botherer.



Our third and final musketeer is TIM HOOPER. Strictly vinyl only, mainly, most of the time. When asked if he was pleased to be playing the birthday party Tim said 'great'. Man of few (comprehendible) words but many fantastic black, waxy discs, Tim completes a mouth-watering musical ménage à trois.
