About this Event

We return for round 2 at Surya in King's Cross for another turntable-only affair to kickstart our event programme for 2016.



For the next instalment we take great pleasure in playing host to Cirencester based DJ Unknown Element, to give us an hour of full flavour blends covering the whole spectrum of drum & bass. We also have Grooves residents Variation, Merlin, Oskar and Akay showcasing their respective musical tastes in their own individual DJing styles.



Grooves was born from one central concept: celebrating the DJs who are still mixing music using turntables, be it with a bag of records, or vinyl emulation software. Our aim is to provide a platform to showcase the skills of talented, passionate DJs, ranging from bedroom performers to those well established.
