We’ll be travelling through time from the proto-acid of 1986 through to the total future paradise that is 2016. The reason for this 30 year THING? Regular member of the Beats of Rage crew, PRTYDSTRYR aka Pish aka Sausage Fingers hits 30 this February and we wanted to mark the occasion with a good old-fashioned rave-up.

Our first special guest is a man with over 25 years in tha biz. Founding member of Bizarre Inc, followed by a stack of acid house & techno as Nexus 21 on labels like R&S Records, Network & Strictly Rhythm… BUT it’s Mark’s chart-bothering ALTERN-8 that has remained one of the biggest names in rave history. You’ll know the big tunes: Activ-8, Evapor-8, Hypnotic St8 and that absolute banger Frequency. Maybe you remember them on Top of The Pops with their Vicks VapoRub & the dust masks?? Anyhoo, nowadays Mark can be found playing bleep techno in Berghain as Trackman, and turning out chunky acid house sets for I Love Acid.

Beats of Rage residents/drunks take us on a very literal tour from 1986 through 1987, then onto 1988, followed by 1989, which in turn is followed by 1990, after which it’s 1991, and so on and so on, year by year by year by year through the 90s and “naughties” right up to TWO THOUSAND & GOD DAMN SIXTEEN. Across the whole evening they’ll shimmy through 30 years of dancefloor smashers, and so will you. Deal? DEAL.
