The 99 Degree
Shamanarchy are four young Liverpudlian musicians raised on the inspiring punk philosophy of get up and do it yourself!
Exposed to the Shamanistic principle of universal majesty, love infinite.
It's a powerful 'time for magic' when Shamanarchy take the stage.
AZTEX Liverpudlian surf-pop band with a dash of reggae and a sprinkling of electronica.
Weekend War, began in 2014 as a university recording project and has since evolved into a full time obsession. Their first year saw them support The Hummingbirds as well as receive recognition from BBC presenter, Dave Monks. 2016 is already proving to be an excited year for the band with the release of their debut single, 'She'. "
The 99 Degree After taking a year out to write a set of songs they wanted to hear; The 99 Degree debuted on Boxing Day 2014. Quickly drawing comparisons with the likes of The Growlers, The Cramps, Love and even The Fat White Family the band have been dubbed "Manchester Psych Messiahs" on Manchester radio.
The 99 Degree say - Hopefully there's a nod to Surf, Rockabilly, Psych, Skiffle, 60's Garage Rock and even Spaghetti Westerns and Horror films in our music. And the stories in our lyrics give us another angle again on top of all that. Most of all we want to sound like ourselves and put on shows we would want to go and see. The best compliment we've had so far was from a sound engineer in Night & Day Café who told us we have something unique, which is not something he gets to say very often with seeing four bands a day every day of the year.
The band have started 2016 with a successful headline slot at Manchester’s Night & Day Café and a feature on influential music website Louderthanwar.com, who noted that: “the band seem set to bring their distinctive sound to the wider world this year (and) are definitely one to watch”.
So, keep watching!
