Oakhaart won the 'Metal to The Masses' competition in the Bristol area, earning them a slot at Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2014 alongside bands such as Down, Megadeth, Emperor.

Later that year, they released an exclusive single through the Headbangers Balls charity CD entitled Terra Natura. This was the first recording with Sam showing what he can do.



2015 saw Oakhaart playing more headlining shows and also supporting bands such as Kobra and the Lotus, Xerath and Reign of Fury, the departure of Rob Ives and the introduction to Jason Deakins (formerly of Tempestora) and in between – writing material for the first full Oakhaart album.

Mordrake are a Dark Melodic Metal band formed in Bristol in 2012 by Jamie Drake and Chris Mor. Jake Squire(Sparrow) was added to the line up on Drums with Art Banymandhub on bass (who was later replaced by Jake Kiley). Influenced by bands such as Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Pantera, and Wintersun, they have sculpted a sound that incorporates elements of Black, Death, Groove and Doom Metal.
