"Back for the third time, Ashes to Angels return to serve the big city their latest offering, With Tape and Needles, produced by none other than the Godfather of darkwave himself, William Control. With support from Stereo Juggernaut, Evilyn, and the Wicked Venetians, the night is set with a lineup that will make your ears blister and your eyes bleed."

"…. then I saw eyeliner and lean young bodies, and heard the yowl of guitars. Ashes to Angels are a young and enthusiastic Goth/Rock/Pop band from Bristol, fronted by the charismatic Adam Crilly, who hails from Camberley in Surrey. Very talented, works hard, yells in just the right way. I love dirty Rock bands who look like they just came from a bad party… from what Crilly said, maybe they did. Ranging in age from 18 to 23 ish, this band are young enough to go the distance if Crilly doesn’t burn out – he’s hot with the girls, so I hope he saves some of himself for later. Very impressive, this band are regulars on the local circuit so one to watch. The CD is low down and dirty in the car… watch this space for the review."

"'one of a kind. fast, energetic, aggressive, and melodic. They have energy, a raw and rebellious air of supremacy. There is not many bands who can match their live show. The energy and passion they put into every song on stage is contagious, leaking into the crowd and bringing the room to life.' "

"Escalating from Bristol's graveyard vaults is the Gothic Alternative Metal / Rock quintet Ashestoangels (during the recording it was a trio), visually like Marilyn Manson / Murderdolls, lyrically like Evanescence and musically like Ashestoangels, the four male musicians equally could be contrasted to The Rasmus in the Gothic sense and Nine Inch Nails in the industrial and electro-influences, none the less Ashestoangels are yet to make themselves known nationwide, but with this release they deserve to be, such careful skill and emotions have been loaded onto 10 tracks totalling 46 minutes of the best of British alternative Gothic music, it is as Ashestoangels have put it, the 'Most Beautiful Things Are Dead'"
