Bondax - ''The aural equivalent of sipping an ice-cold Pimms on the balcony of your council estate flat" - Dazed and Confused
Bondax’s evocative music seems to drift between urban sonic landscapes, avoiding classification. Incorporating elements of post-dubstep, R&B, and garage, the Lancaster based duo craft an intimate, electronic bliss that reveals something new with each repeated play. Despite the fact that Adam and George are still enjoying their teens, their music shimmers with a maturity and sophistication that belies their age.

London based DJ, producer and wonder-kid Kiwi, aka Alex Warren, stepped back into the spotlight mid 2015 with the release of his ‘Animals’ EP on Duke Dumont’s Blasé Boys Club imprint. The debut EP featured 4 genre bending tracks, informed by Kiwi’s passionate and eclectic music tastes. Notably A side ‘Short Tail’ went on to be nominated for a ‘Best of British’ award for track of the year, and was listed in the top 10 tunes of the year by DJ Mag. This tried and tested blueprint can be seen and felt in his DJs sets, which often genre hop from the Balearic, Disco, Soul to Detroit-Techno, House and everything in between without ever letting up on the dance floor.
Previous releases on Defected, Sneaky, Needwant, Kitsune and Deep Shit, and with a string of remixes for Duke Dumont, Petite Meller and Lane 8, further extending Kiwi’s reach and earning support from Andrew Weatherall, DJ Harvey, Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan, Duke Dumont, Rob da Bank, Annie Mac and Skream amongst others.
With all this love and material Kiwi has taken his music and DJ Sets around Europe; with brilliant DJ performances at Warehouse Project in Manchester, Amnesia Ibiza, The Arches Glasgow, Palais De Tokyo in Paris, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, as well back to back sets with Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagghe and Friendly Fires. On top of this he holds down a residency at The Nest, XOYO and as a touring DJ with Duke Dumont’s Blasé Boys Club nights.
Recent release 'Shiba Inu' already a firm favourite of ours, the artwork alone worth checking out to see Alex riding high.

Twin Sun are set to play their second live show for us on the 29th April, having supported Maribou State in February. Armed with synths & a bass guitar, those of you who remember Drop Out Orchestra's memorable live set at Cubed will see & hear excellent similarities. Cosmic disco & live bass, what's not to like about that?
