Full Line Up: KRÍA, Stereo Kela, Shaz Rahman, Steve Wilks



Promoters Absent Kelly bring another fantastic emerging bill of all things Electro, Soul and Funk back to Surya.



Topping the evening's bill is KRÍA. This Singer/Songwriter/Producer, originally from Iceland but now based in London, has a sound that is hard to pin down. Her brand of ambient electro is delicate and unique and has gained her a lot of attention both in her native Iceland and here in London. KRÍA has been featured in numerous blogs and online magazines, including Bast Magazine, Nordic Style and Indietronica, as well as gaining airplay on well renowned internet and local radio stations like Croydon Radio. We've got a feeling that there's big things on the horizon for KRÍA, so see her here first.



Stereo Kela will be there too. Stereo Kela are a two piece Alt Electro/Soul act based in Bristol. The duo specialises in smooth female vocals backed by electronic instrumentation that combines elements of house, garage, trip-hop and reggae. The duo have already headlined a BBC Radio 6 Music event in Bristol and we’re sure they’ll impress in the Capital too.



We'll also be joined by Shazzy. Performing here in his hometown of London, he'll be bringing to the stage his fresh hip hop sound with an old school flow and meaningful lyrics. This sound has earned him the title of Open Mic UK Winner 2013 and we're excited to see what he has in store.



Also on the bill is Steve Wilks. Also joining us all the way from Bristol for the evening, Steve is an incredibly diverse artist, seamlessly spanning genres from reggae to folk to electro. He'll be playing a very special acoustic set for us on the evening, so we recommend you come down and catch him on this rare opportunity in the Capital.
