2016 will see Subsist host 3 shows at Bristol's iconic Blue Mountain. First up a mid summers party which is guaranteed to bring you some face melting bass when our headliners stop off for their first Bristol show together. This duo have been making waves on either side of the Atlantic since they first collaborated for an EP together last year.



SHADES [Alix Perez and Eprom] are bass and dance music stalwarts, who have grown to become some of the most influential artists amongst their peers today. Eprom and Perez were aware of each other’s music for some time before they met in person. Their first time together in the studio was with Foreign Beggars to produce the Modus EP which subsequently led to further collaborations. These tracks became the Alpha Pup EP, which was the birth of SHADES.



Perez and Eprom are motivated by the need for progression musically and personally. They are pioneers who are driven by change and are not falling prey to the trappings of conventional composition. XLR8R have rightly said “music that’s not only a legitimate full-frontal assault in the same vein as tunes from that golden era of gluttonous bass and synths, but that embraces that ethos while giving it a more polished feel”
